My sourdough journey started after my beloved big brother took his life in the fall of 2016. I needed a distraction from the grief and chaos. I’d dabbled in sourdough for years, but I started to put all of my pent up emotions into creating something living out of loss. Sourdough, in a way, healed me. I hope my creations create as much joy for you as they do for me.
I use Central Milling Organic unbleached Bread Flour from Petaluma, Spring Water and plain old salt as the base of my sourdoughs.
I’m super shy, have social anxiety in large group settings, so you might not ever meet me. But I love you from afar, and put all of that love into every loaf I create. I’m happy to do special large orders, Let me know if you have something in mind!
